We are incredibly proud to introduce to you, Los Antiguos, Hometown's new house coffee.

This year we have decided to work with Scotlands only green bean importer, Caribbean Goods. Javier and his team specialise in importing green coffee to the UK. Their primary goal is to promote completely transparent trading, ensuring truly ethical coffee. They achieve this by sourcing the coffee directly from farmers they have personally met, which allows them to circumvent the industry issues that many farmers face and provide them with the fair work and pay they deserve.

Los Antiguos is aggragated by small holder producers grown in the Huehuetanango region. This collective was formed in 1970 and it is made up by 550 small holders. For every 1kg sold, Caribbean Goods will donate 15p to the MAIA Impact School, which is empowering generations of young Indigenous women - https://www.maiaimpact.org/

In the cup we are tasting hazelnut praline with a particularly creamy and full bodied mouthfeel, orange sweetness and a long toffee-like finish.
